The rest of these reviews are idiots

Every review I see on this site looks like it was written by somebody who doesn't even understand the basics of freight.

My company spends over $2M on transportation each year (we've been with BlueGrace for 3 years) with over 30% of that going through BlueGrace (the remaining is small parcel which we just prefer to use USPS and UPS for although BlueGrace can help with that as well).

Anytime we've received an invoice that was higher than the original quote from BlueGrace they were either able to get the carrier to admit they made a mistake, or they educated us on how our dock guys miscalculated a freight class or something else that was done from our end that voided out the original quote. They have never pulled a "bait and switch" and it doesn't make sense that they even would considering they lose their margins when a carrier charges them more for your screw-up.

Your "broker" by name of Danny Frisco gave my not one, but THREE back pickup numbers for loads that had already left between 5 and 7 days previously! Your company is unreliable and filled with liars. You are no good.

Anonymous

Stop! Do not use!!

My problems have been endless! First shipment they were supposed to arrive between 8-12 and call.

They showed up at 7 and missed part of the shipment, that I than had to pay to ship. Second and last shipment was picked up days late and was supposed to be next day delivery. Two days later and no word! You get what you pay for and if second class or lower is ok and you do not have a time frame, go ahead and use them.

Buyer be warned! I am now trying to call the carrier directly to see where my shipment is.

This cost me extra warehouse time and pissed off customers, who pays for that? Me!!!!

Blue Grace quoting for reweigh and reclass to double our quoted price

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We have disputed Invoice # 100A2545 as per our email to Ms. Nicole Scroggins at Blue Grace (BG) dated 11/09/16.

We have asked BG to correct the 2 outstanding invoices and issue a credit for the unapproved carrier that lost/damaged our goods. On the concerned invoice, Blue Grace (BG) switched carriers (CT) without our approval while they quoted us for a different carrier (RIST). BG quoted $147.23 for BOL 21530**** but invoiced a different amount ($229.32). BG quoted $155.24 for BOL BG21121**** but invoiced a different amount of $299.91.

BG is saying they are charging double because of re-class/re-weigh but there was no change in class/weight from quoted. This was a pattern in the past invoices as well where they first overcharged and later corrected the invoice to match quoted amounts. Further, out of 8 shipments arranged by BG, 3 were damage/lost in the amount over $1380.51. This frequency of loss far exceeds our experience and I am disappointed by the lack of response from BG.

11 cases were reported missing on BOL BG3192**** in the amount of $214.50. Further we paid BG in good faith on BOL 20378****. BG switched carriers without our approval (quoted RIST but switched to CT which we would not have approved due to poor track record). CT lost our pallet.

We wrote to BG but received no help, resulting in unfulfilled/lost business and damages on BOL21530****.

We have requested them to correct the invoices and issue a credit for the BOL not approved by us. We are looking forward to resolving the matter.

You need to complete the BOL correctly. Carriers rarely make a mistake with a commodity class correction and/or reweigh. It sounds as if you are not doing the job on your end, tbph.

Sales Rep Used and Abused!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I worked for Blue Grace's Brooklyn office for about 4 Months. During that time I was told I would be sent to Fla for training-Never Happened.

I had to buy my own business cards. I was told I would have access a report of all my shipments for the day-Never Happened. I was told I would have access to a report of all my customers who logged into the system for quotes-Never Happened. They gave me Salesforce to log in all my sales calls, which I had never used and they were suppose to train me on it.-Never Happened.

They told me I didn't have enough sales, but when I told them I was putting on new customers they said they really won't customers because they only shipped once.

Bottom line, they lied and if you are considering working for them DON'T!!!!

Totally dropped the ball!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I scheduled a shipment that was to be delivered the next day. BlueGrace gave me an awesome rate on 11 skids. 3 days later I still don't have my freight. I had to contact another carrier to pick up my frieght. This added expence to a seemingly easy shipment. I will NEVER use this company again. A 1 day shipment turned into a nightmare. All my other carriers can do this lane in 1 day. I was told we will receive a discount on our freight bill. I will wait to see if this happens. I have informed our other company to take Blue Grace of our carrier list. This is totally unacceptable. Not a happy camper!

Bad Company for All !

Blue Grace Logistics Is a bad 3 PL that gives all in the industry a bad name. Poor everything Service, Sales, Support. Please take my advice don't use them. They don't care. They have bad CS Support. Its a very low level 3 pl. Even their pricing is not so good. I used them for NJ to Back to me in Chicago. 8 pallets 6800 lbs. The carrier lost 1 pallet for 2 weeks and Blue Grace double the rate. Not only lost a customer but my product for 2 weeks and Blue Grace miss quoted.

Rude and reweights

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I was working with fred at bluegrace and he had to stop working for awhile, i got a quote from fred before he left and it was the cheapest than all the other quotes i had, so i decide to use bluegrace. This was the first time using bluegrace, but i have been getting shippment in from the same company since 2009 no problems.

once i got the shipment in from the carrier i got a reweight on two pallets. The carrier stated each pallet weighed the same. this was and so far the only reweight i have ever gotten since i stated in 2009. I have used the same carrier a lot and with different brokers.

I contacted bluegrace and Reese stated he would drop my cost down by 90.00. The reweigh made my invoice go up to over 350.00 so 90.00 they thought would make me happy, i tried and tried to get them to dispute the problem with the carrier but i always got some excuse back from reese that the carrier would not look into the matter, i got all the info that showed the pallets could not weigh the same. all in all i believe bluegrace has been the worst broker i have used. i understand reweighs, and know that bluegrace did not reweigh but the carrier, i felt as if i was a bother to try to fight the rewighs.

the company is very rude and disrespectful to me. i would never use them again.

BlueGrace Logistics stole my franchise and all of my receivables!!!!

I had been a franchise owner from the start of BlueGrace. During a time that I called them for help, because my recievables were a little tight, they took that opportunity to steal my franchise and all of the receivables.

I only asked them to extend me 7 days additional credit for 2 months, and what they did was allow Randy Collick to take revenge on me by stealing my franchise. They gave me no access to collect my money, and they claimed to only have collected exactly what I owed them. The other $100,000.00 they said were uncollectable. The company is a fraud.

Be forewarned.

Not a word from Bluegeace. I called a previous client and they told me Bluegeace did not even attempt to collect the recievables.

What type of Franchise support is that!?!. Bobby Harris, Robert Harris, Mr. I screw my best friends for my ego Harris, what type of person or company does that to someone they call a friend or supposedly has an obligation to protect as a franchisor? And doesnt say one word to them.

Great FRIEND. Great Franchisor. The only thing your good at doing to your friends that starts with an F is *** them. Isnt thst right, Vanessa?

And every other female in Tampa Bay.

Hey Bobby, remember that *** in Atlanta that you paid to come to the room, Penny? Good times. Or are you to still screwing with hot young wife of Ed Droste, founder Hooters?

Very poor customer service and very slow delivery times

This is a TLT company that was hired thru uShip.com during discussion before bid was place we asked about Friday or Saturday pickup. They said they could along with 3 other company's. The other company's all had deliver dates between Saturday and Sunday making it 2 to 3 days after we bought our iMacs. After we accepted their low bid. they said they only worked Mon - Fri so it would have to be Monday afternoon before they could pickup. So we agreed that was ok. After they picked up the pallet they said that it would be 10 day before they where to be delivered and then still missed that delivery date making it 11 days. There was no discount for being late no apologies for being late just a reply that delivery dates are only estimates shipments get there when they get there. Will not use them again and highly recommend no one else does ether.

Not shipped on time when promised, then expect full payment

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We hired this company after being hounded for our business.. We were told the shipment would take two days so we scheduled a work crew to be there on the day product was to be delivered so they could start work.

Shipment showed up 4 days later and when we asked for a discount as we now have to pay a work crew for not working based on their delivery date, they claimed it was our fault because we did not tell them why we needed it there. They gave US the delivery date.. we worked on the information they gave us. Needless to say, they expect full payment.

There are way too many good delivery companies out there to deal with this type of nonsense...

BlueGrace sent a refund check for a shipment they billed wrongly for, then check bounced! Avoid: Tedesco, Burgos, Lehman

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have worked a few times with BlueGrace. Issues: 1) They bill you upon booking, not pickup, which is crazy as shipments often get canceled and rebooked on a different shipper. The process of refund is very manual for them and you need to watch your monthly bills as they often do not refund when you request or cancel a shipment. They sent me a refund check after multiple requests and the check BOUNCED. 2) The company spins through employees at an alarming rate. You NEVER know who you need to deal with. Their brokers have little follow-through. 3) I have dealt with so many people.

Bluegrace continues to hit new lows

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Blue Grace is one of the most unethical companies around.Do NOT work for them whether you have industry experience or not! Ask their HR department what their turnover percentage is and you will more than likely get sold a smoke and mirrors spin story about how "turnover in 3pl is generally higher". The CEO of the company JUST got his undergrad degree within the past 3 months yet he walks around like he is Rupert Murdoch. The "sales plan" for BG is to hire as many people that have worked in the industry before in order to gain access to your book of business. You will then be fired within 120 days of being hired. During the interview process you will be told how BG has future plans to assert itself as a big player in the OTR and LTL game and they will pay you whatever you want to bring you on board and promise you the world. They have done this time and time again both at the Tampa location and Chicago office. They have fired over 60% of their new hires over the past calendar year. BG has serious cash flow issues. They have had multiple instances where they can not make payroll and have had employees pay checks not clear. The CEO is the only source of cash and they are operating month to month financially. That's why they will hire you if you have experience. They want you to bring in a quick cash influx to help the bottom line. Then they will fire you and give all your accounts to someone else who they pay half of what they were paying you. The level of incompetence at BG is incredible. Their COO (Randy C.) literally doesn't know the MC number or how many active carriers they use. He will more than likely put a target on your back if you challenge any of his teachings or philosophies. He has recommended the firings of numerous top performers at BG simply because they did not follow his ways like so many of the other "yes men" in his department. The billing department is a mess. They fire an invoice off to your customer the DAY the load ships. Unheard of in the industry. If your customer doesn't pay the invoice within 15 days, BGs "credit collectors" get on the phone and will verbally abuse your customer until they pay up. I am shocked and mortified how this company has actually ever made a dime in the business. The only reason they have is because they lie to employees, customers, carriers, and themselves. This is by far and away one of the worst companys in America and in this day an age, qualified people need to stay away from BlueGrace Logistics. Trust me, if you accept a job there, less than 2 months later you will regret it.

There should be a class action suit against BlueGrace!

Guest

I am looking for anyone that has a lawsuit against BG. I am being sued by BG for quitting.

They are sueing me for lost profit. They said it is a breach of contract. They raised my profit margin to 40% without my consent and I lost all of my customers.

I am looking for an attorney in the state of Florida to represent me. Any ideas?

Guest

Spot on...

Yep I can confirm this as well. They are bad news.

I've been recruiting in the brokerage industry for over 10 years and I will say that every SINGLE ex-employee from blue-grace that I have worked with was discharged in an unjustifiable manner and an inappropriate manner. I'm shocked there has not been a class action lawsuit brought forth against them up to this point in time for some of the things they have done to their labor force.
