Bluegrace Logistics
Reviews and Complaints
The rest of these reviews are idiots
Every review I see on this site looks like it was written by somebody who doesn't even understand the basics of freight.
My company spends over $2M on transportation each year (we've been with BlueGrace for 3 years) with over 30% of that going through BlueGrace (the remaining is small parcel which we just prefer to use USPS and UPS for although BlueGrace can help with that as well).
Anytime we've received an invoice that was higher than the original quote from BlueGrace they were either able to get the carrier to admit they made a mistake, or they educated us on how our dock guys miscalculated a freight class or something else that was done from our end that voided out the original quote. They have never pulled a "bait and switch" and it doesn't make sense that they even would considering they lose their margins when a carrier charges them more for your screw-up.
Stop! Do not use!!
My problems have been endless! First shipment they were supposed to arrive between 8-12 and call.
They showed up at 7 and missed part of the shipment, that I than had to pay to ship. Second and last shipment was picked up days late and was supposed to be next day delivery. Two days later and no word! You get what you pay for and if second class or lower is ok and you do not have a time frame, go ahead and use them.
Buyer be warned! I am now trying to call the carrier directly to see where my shipment is.
This cost me extra warehouse time and pissed off customers, who pays for that? Me!!!!

Blue Grace quoting for reweigh and reclass to double our quoted price
We have disputed Invoice # 100A2545 as per our email to Ms. Nicole Scroggins at Blue Grace (BG) dated 11/09/16.
We have asked BG to correct the 2 outstanding invoices and issue a credit for the unapproved carrier that lost/damaged our goods. On the concerned invoice, Blue Grace (BG) switched carriers (CT) without our approval while they quoted us for a different carrier (RIST). BG quoted $147.23 for BOL 21530**** but invoiced a different amount ($229.32). BG quoted $155.24 for BOL BG21121**** but invoiced a different amount of $299.91.
BG is saying they are charging double because of re-class/re-weigh but there was no change in class/weight from quoted. This was a pattern in the past invoices as well where they first overcharged and later corrected the invoice to match quoted amounts. Further, out of 8 shipments arranged by BG, 3 were damage/lost in the amount over $1380.51. This frequency of loss far exceeds our experience and I am disappointed by the lack of response from BG.
11 cases were reported missing on BOL BG3192**** in the amount of $214.50. Further we paid BG in good faith on BOL 20378****. BG switched carriers without our approval (quoted RIST but switched to CT which we would not have approved due to poor track record). CT lost our pallet.
We wrote to BG but received no help, resulting in unfulfilled/lost business and damages on BOL21530****.
We have requested them to correct the invoices and issue a credit for the BOL not approved by us. We are looking forward to resolving the matter.

Sales Rep Used and Abused!!!!
I worked for Blue Grace's Brooklyn office for about 4 Months. During that time I was told I would be sent to Fla for training-Never Happened.
I had to buy my own business cards. I was told I would have access a report of all my shipments for the day-Never Happened. I was told I would have access to a report of all my customers who logged into the system for quotes-Never Happened. They gave me Salesforce to log in all my sales calls, which I had never used and they were suppose to train me on it.-Never Happened.
They told me I didn't have enough sales, but when I told them I was putting on new customers they said they really won't customers because they only shipped once.
Bottom line, they lied and if you are considering working for them DON'T!!!!
Totally dropped the ball!

Bad Company for All !
Rude and reweights
I was working with fred at bluegrace and he had to stop working for awhile, i got a quote from fred before he left and it was the cheapest than all the other quotes i had, so i decide to use bluegrace. This was the first time using bluegrace, but i have been getting shippment in from the same company since 2009 no problems.
once i got the shipment in from the carrier i got a reweight on two pallets. The carrier stated each pallet weighed the same. this was and so far the only reweight i have ever gotten since i stated in 2009. I have used the same carrier a lot and with different brokers.
I contacted bluegrace and Reese stated he would drop my cost down by 90.00. The reweigh made my invoice go up to over 350.00 so 90.00 they thought would make me happy, i tried and tried to get them to dispute the problem with the carrier but i always got some excuse back from reese that the carrier would not look into the matter, i got all the info that showed the pallets could not weigh the same. all in all i believe bluegrace has been the worst broker i have used. i understand reweighs, and know that bluegrace did not reweigh but the carrier, i felt as if i was a bother to try to fight the rewighs.
the company is very rude and disrespectful to me. i would never use them again.
BlueGrace Logistics stole my franchise and all of my receivables!!!!
I had been a franchise owner from the start of BlueGrace. During a time that I called them for help, because my recievables were a little tight, they took that opportunity to steal my franchise and all of the receivables.
I only asked them to extend me 7 days additional credit for 2 months, and what they did was allow Randy Collick to take revenge on me by stealing my franchise. They gave me no access to collect my money, and they claimed to only have collected exactly what I owed them. The other $100,000.00 they said were uncollectable. The company is a fraud.
Be forewarned.

Not shipped on time when promised, then expect full payment
We hired this company after being hounded for our business.. We were told the shipment would take two days so we scheduled a work crew to be there on the day product was to be delivered so they could start work.
Shipment showed up 4 days later and when we asked for a discount as we now have to pay a work crew for not working based on their delivery date, they claimed it was our fault because we did not tell them why we needed it there. They gave US the delivery date.. we worked on the information they gave us. Needless to say, they expect full payment.
There are way too many good delivery companies out there to deal with this type of nonsense...

Your "broker" by name of Danny Frisco gave my not one, but THREE back pickup numbers for loads that had already left between 5 and 7 days previously! Your company is unreliable and filled with liars. You are no good.
