I saw this post on a franchise blog: http://mostprofitablefranchisesinfo.com/MyBlog/tag/blue-grace/
I got to start off by saying this is NOT the most profitable franchises. I have heard horror stories about poor support, rates changing all the time and after forking over thousands of dollars if you don't like it, they will take your customers and you cannot work for two years. How is that fair to someone who wants to make a living?
Their franchise agreement is one sided and if you paid or are going to pay to become a franchise, you are making a huge mistake. I work for a company that we have taken in ex-bluegrace agents and hear such horror stories about their lack of support for customers and for agents.
Last item: The say the are the "orbitz of shipping" That is such a lie. Orbitz takes live rates direct from the airlines and orbitz presents that to people. Bluegrace is nothing like that! They have negotiated rates from the freight carriers usually for a year and that is what you get. There is no way they are anything like orbitz.
The referenced article states "on going training and technology driven company" They do not train like that. They get your money, set you up and train you then off you go to the wolves. They have no customer service so they are technology driven for sure. Bad news is that they do not even own their TMS. They rent it.....
